What is a Traffic Exchange (TE)
Simply put, a traffic exchange is a website
that rewards you for viewing member websites by showing yours. If you view more
websites, your website is visited more. When you join a TE you will earn (or buy) credits (or traffic). The amount of
traffic you can earn is only limited by the amount of time you spend viewing other members’ websites. The amount of
time ranges from 10
to 40 seconds, depending on the TE.
Every time you view a website for the specified time, your credits balance is increased. Every time a member views your
website for the same period of time, your credit
balance is decreased.
In my opinion, Traffic Exchanges is one
of the best traffic generation tools you could
ever use.
Many Traffic Exchanges give you an opportunity
to earn income online through commissions paid on upgrades by your personal referrals.
In some cases, that includes their surfing credit purchases as well.
Note: Every traffic
exchange has its own set of terms and conditions. These will usually include
the rules you must abide by as a member. Although these rules are fairly consistent, each exchange has its own personal preferences. So be sure to read the Terms of Agreement for each so that you avoid violating the
TE rules and regulations.
